2018-2019 Premium Chair Seat Reservations

The 2018-19 school year is quickly approaching. Now's the time to purchase your own Premium Chair Seat at the new Doug Collins & John Malkovich Event Center on the Benton CCSD 47 Campus!


Premium Chair Seat Reservation: $150 each seat

  • Reserves your seat for ALL District 47 sponsored events held at the Event Center for the 2018-19 school year.
  • Events include Volleyball, Basketball, Graduation, Academic Awards Night and all Fine Arts Programs (sponsored by the district). 
  • Your name will be displayed on the chair.
  • Applicants can apply for single seats or two seats, and on a limited basis there are groups of three seats (there are 4 groups of three seats available).
  • You will receive a “guest pass” to give to someone that is good for any/all events that you will not attend.

Only 62 Premium Seats available! Applications, with payment, will be accepted until July 2nd. 

Premium Chair Seat holders will have the opportunity to renew each year. 

Buyers will be able to choose their seats based on the order in which their lottery number was selected (the District reserves the right to make adjustments based on handicapped seating and/or groups of three seat purchases). 

  • Rows 2 & 3 have a total of 40 Premium Chair Seats which can be purchased as Singles and/or Doubles.
  • Row 1 has a total of 14 Premium Chair Seats with 4 Double and 2 Triple seat combinations.
  • The Floor has a total of 8 Premium Chair Seats and there are 2 Single and 2 Triple seat combinations.

The selection of chairs will be conducted AFTER the July 2nd deadline and the process will depend upon the total number of chair seats sold. All applicants will be contacted after the July 2nd deadline.

  • If there are more applicants than seats available: A lottery will be held. Those who are not selected will be refunded their payment.

  • If there are fewer applicants than seats available: Buyers will choose their seats based on the order (date and time) in which applications and payments were received at the district office. 

All the funds from the seats will go directly into a special activity fund and the proceeds will be used for improvements and upkeep of the Event Center.
