BGS 5th-8th grade math students raise funds for St. Jude
Posted on 04/09/2018
Benton Grade School's 5th-8th grade math students have raised over $7,600 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during their participation in 2018 Math-A-Thon.  The math classes at Benton Grade School have raised over $47,000 over the past 9 years.  Benton Grade School teachers are very proud of the students and their extraordinary effort to help children and families at St. Jude.  BGS students participate in the Math-A-Thon Program every year.  The students complete the math fun-book and obtain sponsors to donate to St. Jude.  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is working to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.  Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food.  For more information about the Math-A-Thon or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, please go to mathathon.org or stjude.org.
