Benton Community Consolidated School District No. 47 is pleased to honor our 8th grade graduating students on May 14th at 6:00 in the Event Center.
End of the Year Information for 8th Grade Students
We hope to make graduation as memorable and “normal” for our students as possible.
Following CDC guidelines and with the indoor events capacity limits still being in place, it is necessary to make a few adjustments to our traditional ceremony.
Tickets and Mask will be required to attend the in-person ceremony, graduates will be given 4 tickets each.
For family members and friends who are unable to attend the in-person ceremony we will be live streaming the ceremony.
*Students who have met the graduation requirements but do not want to participate in the in-person ceremony should contact the office to receive their diploma.
Important dates for all 8tt grade students.
May 11th……last day for graded work to be accepted.
May 12th …8:30-10:30 Graduation practice.
*All students planning to attend graduation and who have met the requirements must be at practice.
*Cap and Gown will be given out at practice.
*4 Graduation Tickets will be given to students at practice.
May 12th……Last day of school for 8th graders
May 13th .…no school for 8th grade
May 14th ....no school for 8th grade
May 14th Graduation 6:00 p.m. Students should arrive by 5:45 and go to the 5-8 commons to get in line.
