The baseball and softball games against Hamilton Country for today have been canceled. Baseball will practice 2-3:15 in the 5-8 Gym and softball will practice 3:15-4:30 in the 5-8 gym.
Cross Country Tryouts are Wednesday Aug. 14th and Thursday Aug. 15th from 2:05 - 3:15 at the track. Anyone interested must have a current physical on file.

Just a reminder McLeansboro Street is closed North of the railroad track to Webster Street. Please plan accordingly for drop off and pick up. The city indicated the closure will last approximately two weeks.

Student’s schedules for 5th -8th grade are now available in teacher ease. Schedules will also be available at Meet the Teacher night August 8th @ 5:30. No Schedules will be changed until school starts. Students will be able to request a schedule change during the first week of school, Aug 12th– Aug16th.
Baseball Tryouts for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be Monday July 22nd and Tuesday
July 23rd from 8:30-10:30 at the baseball field at the park. If it rains tryouts will be held in the 5-8 gym at the school. If tryouts are moved to the school, there will be a sign on the dugout.
Softball Tryouts for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be Wednesday, July 31st, at the park on Field 3. softball tryouts will use the following schedule, 6th grade at 9 am, 7th grade at 9:30 am, 8th grade at 10:15 am
All students must have a current physical to try out.

2024-2025 registration packets were sent home with all students today. They should be returned by Friday May 3rd. Registration paperwork must be turned in for all presently enrolled BGS students to be registered for the 2023-2024 school year. If you did not receive a registration packet or need one, they are available in the K-4 and 5-8 offices
Tonight's musical has been rescheduled due to the potential of severe weather. The musical will be Monday, April 22 @ 6:30pm. We hope to see you there!
