The rumor that is circulating about a threat of a shooting at school tomorrow has been thoroughly investigated and was found to only be a rumor and is NOT true.
If there is ever a threat or concern regarding the safety of your child we will make it a priority to communicate that to you in a timely matter.

As we head into Christmas Break, the administration and staff at BGS wish all our students and their families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

The girl's basketball game scheduled for tonight (12/8) has been cancelled. The Cheer Camp performance has been rescheduled for Monday (12/12). All participants should be in the Event Center by 5pm.

Tomorrow November 1st, all students will be given information about eLearning days.
Please check your k-4 student’s backpacks and ask your 5-8 students for the information.
Once you receive the information, if you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
BGS Parents: We will have a lock-down drill on Monday, October 31st. Students and teachers will practice by simply locking down in their classroom. If you have any questions, please call the office.

Congratulations to our Junior High Marching Band! The band placed first in the middle school division at the Mt. Vernon Parade on October 1st.

Congratulations to our Baseball and Softball teams on their wins last night. Both teams will play Du Quoin in the regional championship game. Baseball will play @ West Frankfort tomorrow (9/23) at 4pm. Softball will play @ McLeansboro on Saturday (9/23) at 10am. Good luck to both teams!!
