Registration information was sent home with all BGS students today. Please be on the lookout for this information. A letter is attached explaining the registration process. All forms must be signed and returned in order to be registered for the 2022-23 school year.
The 7th Grade conference track meet at Carbondale that was reschedule for tomorrow also has a new start time. Field events are scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM followed by the track events.
The 7th grade conference track meet in Carbondale has been canceled for today and rescheduled for tomorrow (4/26).
Parents: Due to potential for severe weather tomorrow, Benton #47 will move dismissal to 1 pm. We want to get students home safely prior to onset of storms. Thank you.
The track meet tomorrow at Pinckneyville has been canceled. We are working to add a meet next week. More information will be communicated once everything is finalized.
The track meet at West Frankfort today has been cancelled. Both boys and girls will practice after school until 4:00 PM.
Due to the forecast for Friday, West Frankfort has moved their track meet to Monday, Aprill 11th. Field events will begin at 3:30 PM with track events to follow.

Join us tomorrow night (3/31/22) as BGS choir students perform the spring musical, “Lights! Camera! Action!” The evening performance will begin at 6:30 PM. We’ll see you there!

Some of our BGS art students will be participating in the Junior High Art Exhibit this Thursday, March 24th (5:30 - 7:00 PM) at La Galarie on the Benton Square. An informational flyer is attached.
Good luck to our BGS volleyball team as they begin regional play tonight at Hamilton County. Game time is approximately 7:15 PM.

Several BGS basketball players were selected to play in the 2022 Southern Illinois Premier Jr High All-Start Classic this coming weekend at Rend Lake. Please see the attached schedule for specific game times. Congratulations to Jaycee Webb, Kinley Glover, Kaden Owens, Jaxton Wiggs, Wade Baumgarte, Cole Copple, Nolan Schafer, TJ Hamilton, and Clay Gage. Good luck this weekend!
